FootballBoard is a UK-first football archive. Every Premier League, EFL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Champions League, Europa League and World Cup meeting from the last three decades, in one place, with the head-to-head story attached.
Why we built it
Football coverage online is split between fast-news sites that don't carry deep archives and data sites that don't tell the story. We wanted a third thing: when you click two clubs, you get the data and the context — last meetings, biggest wins, recent form, transfers between the clubs, managers who crossed the divide, and the editorial overlay that makes the numbers mean something.
Where the data comes from
Historical results, scores and odds: Football-Data.co.uk (back to 1993/94). Live fixtures, results and tables: Football-Data.org. EPL player data: Fantasy Premier League API. Tournament event data: StatsBomb open data. Reference biographies and crests: Wikipedia. We sync everything to our own database and serve from there — no live API calls in user pages.
Editorial standards
Articles are written by named editors with verified sources. We never copy sentences, never quote without checking the original, and we update or correct factual errors quickly.
