2. What we collect
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits. This sets cookies and may collect IP address (truncated), device type, browser, referrer, and pages viewed.
- Advertising: we use Google AdSense (and, post-launch, Mediavine/Raptive) to show ads. Advertising partners may set their own cookies for frequency capping and personalisation.
- Affiliate clicks: when you click an affiliate link (bookmaker, Amazon, etc.) we record a click ID and may pass non-personal parameters such as page slug or campaign source.
- Newsletter: if you sign up to our newsletter, we store your email address and unsubscribe token until you unsubscribe.

Essential cookies are placed under our legitimate interest in operating the site. Analytics and advertising cookies are placed only after you give consent via our cookie banner.
4. Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and object to processing of your personal data. Email us using the contact page and we will respond within one month.
5. Data retention
Analytics events are retained for 14 months. Newsletter records are kept until unsubscribe + 30 days. Affiliate click logs are retained for 90 days.
6. Third parties
We share data with: Google (Analytics, AdSense), our advertising partner (Mediavine/Raptive once joined), Cloudflare (CDN/security), and the email provider used for newsletters. Each has its own privacy policy.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
