What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, measure traffic, and serve advertising.
How we use cookies
FootballBoard uses cookies in three categories:
- Essential — required for the site to function (load balancer, CSRF protection, your cookie-consent choice). These are always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) so we can measure which pages people read and how the site performs. Only set after you accept. - Advertising — Google AdSense and our display partner (Mediavine/Raptive once joined) for frequency capping and (where applicable) personalised ads. Only set after you accept.
Managing cookies
Open the cookie banner at the bottom of the page to change your choice. You can also block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may break the site.
